Cap Room is a free NBA draft game where you build an all-time starting five under a random salary cap. Every position hides a mystery challenge — an era restriction, a ring requirement, a nickname theme — revealed one slot at a time as you draft. How does the salary cap work?
Each run rolls a random salary cap between $90M and $150M. Every player you draft counts against that budget, and you can't go over it.
What are the hidden position challenges?
Each of the five starting positions hides a random restriction — like "Old School" (pre-1990 primes only) or "Champions" (rings required) — revealed only when you tap that slot.
Can I change my mind after drafting a player?
Picks are final once made, but you get one respin per run to reroll a challenge before you draft into it if you don't like what you see.
